🌟 Essential English Communication Skills for Working Adults


Level 1 - 3: Beginner to Lower Intermediate


Length: 100 - 150 Lessons (each 2 hours)


Goal:To help working adults communicate effectively in English at work, home, and in the community; focusing on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and confidence.

After 100 lessons, learners will be able to:

Focus: Building simple survival communication skills.

  6. Talking about family

  7. Describing people (man, woman, tall, short)

  • Delivering ideas confidently in meetings and presentations

  • Using polite and assertive expressions (not too direct or too vague)

  • Practicing small talk and networking conversations

  • Managing tone, pace, and clarity when speaking


🔹 3. Active Listening

  • Focusing on understanding before responding

  • Asking clarifying questions

  • Paraphrasing to confirm understanding

  • Showing attention with verbal and nonverbal cues


🔹 4. Telephone and Online Communication

  • Speaking clearly and professionally on calls or video meetings

  • Managing introductions and turn-taking in group calls

  • Using polite phrases for interruptions or clarifications

  • Being aware of online etiquette (muting, camera use, tone)


🔹 5. Cross-Cultural and Interpersonal Skills

  • Being sensitive to cultural differences in communication styles

  • Using inclusive and respectful language

  • Building rapport and maintaining professionalism

  • Handling disagreements diplomatically
